Throughout my career, I've contributed to both digital and traditional media outlets, from writing articles and managing content for ESPN Brasil’s Women’s section to producing in-depth stories for global sports platforms like the worldwide famous BJJ Heroes and FloGrappling. I also created a pioneering investigation on harassment in Jiu-Jitsu, which brought attention to the issue and led to important discussions within the community.

In 2017, I conducted and published a groundbreaking research study on harassment within the Jiu-Jitsu community. It was one of the most challenging experiences of my career as a journalist. Over the course of the project, I interviewed more than 200 women who courageously shared their stories of harassment and abuse on the mats.
The impact of this work extended beyond journalism. In 2019, I was invited to Brasília, where the Brazilian National Congress is, to present my findings and support the development of a law aimed at protecting women in sports.
Eight years later, this research continues to resonate. I still receive messages – sometimes anonymous, sometimes not – on social media or in person from women sharing their own experiences of abuse within the sport. This ongoing dialogue serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of addressing these issues and advocating for change.
